Doug KesslerDOUGLAS W. KESSLER, is a lifelong resident of Indiana, born on March 24, 1953 in Richmond, Indiana.   After high school he attended the University of Notre Dame, and received his Bachelor of Arts Degree in 1975, graduating with honors.   He attended the School of Law at Indiana University, Indianapolis Division, receiving his Doctor of Jurisprudence Diploma in 1978, graduating with honors.

After graduation, in the late 1970’s and early 1980’s, he worked as Deputy Prosecuting Attorney in Johnson County, Indiana, assigned to rape and child molesting prosecutions, while also maintaining a civil law practice.  He has been engaged in the general private practice of law since 1978,  and his areas of practice have included personal injury, business law, corporations, criminal, domestic, and general civil litigation.

Over the past few years, his primary area of practice has been in the family law arena, which includes Dissolution of Marriage, Division of Marital Assets, Child Custody, Child Support, Parenting Time, Paternity, and all other aspects of Family Law.  He also provides representation in the area of Criminal Law, felony and misdemeanor offenses.   His office represents clients in all aspects of civil cases, including adoptions, real estate, personal injury, corporate and business litigation.
